Our church (www.newlifechurch.com.au) hoseted a new years eve party with the theme "Holywood". The event was very well attended, with about a hundred and fifty people enjoying a buffet dinner. The various tables were arranged around movie genre's. A Science fiction table was on hand to bring out the inner jedi. There was a sixties table, a western table, a historic wars table, and naturally, a fantasy table.
Those of a more nautical persuasion braved the idebergs on the titanic table, although return tickets were non refundable. Starry eyed lovers took advantage of the two romantic tables. The decorations were spectacular, with over ten kilometers of ribbon on the ceiling alone.
